Sewage Compliance Is An Everyday Thing In Johnstown
Johnstown PA is a unique town with a rich history. The main sewage lines were installed in the city during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. When the lines were installed, natural waste like rain and snow would drain through the same system as the human waste.
The purification of water has been costing the city millions per year. With separating the sewage lines having natural waste go one direction and human waste going another, the city will save millions.
The challenge is for the local residents, the sewage compliance is a MAJOR project for a home and the cost range from $3,000 to upwards of $6,000.
We complete them ourselves with our own trained crews. Attached are some of the photos of a job completed 7/23/2017. Our required pressure test is scheduled for Monday, July 24th. The lines must be able to hold 5 pounds of air pressure for 15 minutes. We do typically one to two sewage compliance jobs on our homes per week.
